Gamepoint Terra "Iita" has left us ... Leaving heartbreak behind. Iita was such a sweet girl and after the death of her first owner, Kari, she found a wonderful new home, that hunted with Iita - something Kari never had the opportunity to do and something I did not hope for Iita to experience ... I am forever thankful for that. Until we meet again, sweet girl ... 🖤💔

Otti has left us, two weeks before his 13-th birthday ... The huge empty space he leaves behind ... I did not plan on keeping two puppies from the same litter, it just sort of happened, and I have never regretted it - after I saw what kind of a dog he would be. If I had not experienced it, I'd never believe it would be even possible. In a weimaraner, specially. Now that I know, it has raised the bar of my breeding much higher than it already was after Tiki ...
Otti was a dog larger than life. I have never met a dog more naturally talented in absolutely everything and likely never will. A true "out of the box" dog, that just knew, how to do EVERYTHING a weim needs to do in hunting - naturally, without training, with huge drive and with his full heart. That dog just had a natural drive of 5 dogs. I remember, when I stood on the field, the other dogs digging around me, for mice ... and Otti kept searching for something, moving. At 3 months old, before any game contacts yet. He was born to keep moving, to run, and that is not common in weimaraners - a legacy of his father Eazac.
Until we meet again, sweet boy. I'll be missing you so badly ...

Happy birthday to Tiki-Eazac (Classic Dream's Tic Tac Toe x Wellieson Eazac) puppies, that were born 13 years ago!
Today only Säde still with us, Otti left two weeks before reaching 13 ... most of the others lived to be 12 (Bruno, Jack, Esti), Boy leaving at 11 and never forgetting Upi, who was hit by a car when young.

Happy birthday also to Säde-Hunor (Gamepoint Painkiller Jane x Southpaw Duet With Hunsweimaraner) pups, that turned 9 years old ❤️❤️! Hoping for many good years ahead!

Gamepoint Smoke And Lasers "Sep" became a father of 9 puppies (5 girls/4boys) in Czech kennel Šedé Tornádo.❤️.

Some moments from our duck hunts this fall. During one of the hunts, Irma got a snake bite but despite some swelling small obscure spots on one toe I was not sure, what it was, and as she seemed fine, yet I did not want to leave her alone in the car for several hours, she came with us and continued to hunt for some hours. The swelling went down, possibly due being in cold seawater. But next morning I woke up to Irma's leg being very swollen plus a fever over 39 degrees, so obviously that meant immediately an 1,5 h drive to the vet, where Irma got checked over and antibiotics prescribed. Over the next night, the swelling at the snake bite opened up and started to ooze pus for hours. That was the first time a snake bite has caused more that swelling to one of our dogs - out of my 7 weims, 4 have gotten bitten - Irma 3 times! Our dogs love to kill snakes (I always try to save them, if I can), Tsumi being a true snake-master (she points them far enough, then strikes lightning-fast, shakes aggressively and bites the snake at the same time, then drops it and jumps away, so far not getting bitten, despite her impressive snake record).

Gamepoint Better Than Love "Irma" (Tsumi-Loki litter) got full 20 points from open class water test in Finland. The test site and conditions were difficult for many, out of 15 dogs starting, only 7 passed and Irma was one of two dogs to pass with full points.

Gamepoint Smoke And Lasers "Sep" (Tsumi-Loki litter) achieved last weekend at a versatile exam (VZ) a I prize with 472/500 points (nose 4), with high praise from judges for his passion and speed (pretty much the norm with him). From what I heard, judges said he had the best field search and fox retrieve (other breeds present being irish setter, english pointer, german shorthair pointer, vizsla, český fousek, münsterlander) and if Lucie works some more on his obedience (keeping a high-drive dog at that perfect balance is not easy, specially with mainly positive methods like Lucie likes to), he will be the best in Czech and a great asset to breeding ❤️. Even if I have heard things like "this is the best weim/field search I have seen", "runs like a german pointer", "never seen such a good temperament on a weim", "not a fan of this breed but this dog I could own" being said before about dogs I've bred, by judges/pro-trainers/german pointer people - it always makes me thankful, in between all the disappointments and heartbreak breeding brings. I've been lucky to see the same type - those high-drive, fast, medium to wide range dogs - showing up in each litter, at least few of them, making me very humble and thankful to see the genes of Tiki, Eazac, Arto etc go on, the hard work of all the breeders involved in developing and keeping this breed as a working breed live on ❤️.

I started Irma at field trials in Finland 6 times during this fall, under 5 different judges, and she left a strong impression to judges and other people. While going for the first prize every time (until about 3-4th run and 2-3rd bird work, where she decided to have more fun than was necessary - Irma being a VERY fast and passionate girl that works pretty far, so it’s not always easy for both of us to "keep it together"🤦‍♀️), she did get her “hunting will/passion” graded maximum 5 points 4 times and 4 points 2 times out of 6 - which is not common for a weimaraner at these trials (judges mostly base their views on german pointers), making her average hunting will to be 4,6 points, based on 6 starts (there are only 2 other weims in the database with more than 3 starts (both 4) that have average above 4,5 - the more starts the lower the average usually, because most weims will be having "slower" days as well, the whole breed's average is 3,6). Irma's average speed was also 3,5 points (it is 3 for the whole breed). Only 2 x III prizes and a bunch of zeros but the warm words (there was a guy who's been arrangeing british pointer field trials for over 30 years and he said he would take Irma ❤️, also some german pointer people saying they’d never seen a weim "like that") and the true disappointment of judges, when Irma decided to have too much fun still live in me. We'll be working towards next fall!
